Penning Trap Simulation
By Conny Carlberg

Source Code : IonSimGUI.java, Ion.java, IonAnimation.java, DrawDiagram.java, PlotFrame.java

This applet simulator, created by a student in an early version of our course, illustrates the axial motion of particles in a Penning trap. The program simulates a continuous process, involving a number of interacting parts, that can go on for some period of time.
